The 9 Lesson Term:

As our staff are working musicians, they occasionally have to take leave for gigs, tours, and recording sessions. To accomodate this we teach 9 lessons scheduled throughout the NSW school term – when a teacher takes leave we simply reschedule that weeks lessons for “Week 10” of the school term.

What does this mean? If your teacher cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled. On the rare occasion there is no “Week 10” in a term, the lesson is credited to the following terms account.

Attendance:

When you commit to a lesson time, you commit to regular attendance. Our studio is busy, and we can’t reschedule/catch up any student missed lessons.

What does this mean? If a parent or student cancels a lesson, the lesson is still charged and forfeited

For students that can’t commit to a full term, we now offer “every now and then” lessons at $110 per hour – let us know if you’d like to be switched to the “every now and then” email list

Online Lessons:

During government mandated lockdown periods, all lessons take place online

Online lessons are always available for students showing contagious symptoms, or who are otherwise unavailable to attend lessons in person. To request an online lesson, send an email to [email protected] at least 4 hours before your scheduled lesson.

Cancellation of Ongoing Lessons

14 days notice is required for the cancellation of lessons – email [email protected] to cancel ongoing lessons. You will be charged for any lessons that fall within your 14 day notice period and are encouraged to attend your final lessons

Payment/Fees

Payment in full is required to confirm your lesson time. A late payment fees of $25 applies to all overdue accounts.

With our smart invoicing system you can pay via bank transfer, credit card, or even create a custom payment plan. Minimum invoice amount for a payment plan is $200, payment processing fees apply.

Each 9 lesson term is billed in advance, and lesson fees are adjusted at the beginning of each calendar year. 

Admin Contact Details

Our teachers are paid for their musical expertise, not their admin skills – all scheduling enquiries and any questions need to be sent to our admin team. Students and parents are not to contact teachers on any social media platforms or personal phone numbers. Any breach of this policy will result in the removal of the student from the studio.
